Arts and Computer studies are vital educational/training aspects for a self reliance and employment, which were lacking from an educational system both primary and secondary in Cameroon. Hence, Technical Centre for Fine Arts and Computer Studies (TechCeFaCos Group) has become the pivot for strategies to fill the loop hole.

TechCeFaCos NGO strategically places itself in Cameroon with a unique aim, mission and vision as to achieve the following:

-          The introduction of computer studies in secondary schools; and

-          The introduction of arts studies in primary schools, as ‘National Cultural’.

History

TechCeFaCos NGO is the brain child of Emmanuel F. Sevidzem- EFS, founded in the early 2000s in Kumbo town after a prolonged socio-educational experience. It started like a small activity, but today it sprinted as a great developmental initiative with the support of members both home and abroad.

TechCeFaCos is registered as a Common Initiative Group with Registration No. NW/GP 27/04/8170, Governed by Law No 91/006 of August 1992, with it’s Decree of implementation No. 92/455/PM of 23rd November 1992.

The recent strategic transformation of TechCeFaCos, from a Common Initiative Group (CIG) to an Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) has resulted into many changes and modifications from the Legal Status, Constitution and to more documentations and activities not leaving behind the telecentre, one of our most strategic initiatives and the dream of the Tobin-Kumbo community.
